WorkShops

Workshops at It’s My Family are designed to make child‑safeguarding support accessible to everyone navigating family court.
While 1:1 sessions and independent learning through ebooklets and free guides offer valuable support, many parents also benefit from learning in a shared, safe, and supportive space.

Our workshops provide an opportunity to connect with others who understand these experiences, gain practical safeguarding knowledge, and feel part of a community that validates and strengthens protective parenting.

Group Embracing Together

At It’s My Family, we believe that safeguarding guidance should never be limited by cost or circumstance. Workshops offer a free, accessible way for parents to learn, reflect, and build confidence while navigating harmful or abusive co‑parenting dynamics and the family court process.

In these sessions, parents can:

  • learn practical safeguarding concepts in a clear, structured way

  • share lived experiences in a space where they are understood and not dismissed

  • hear from others facing similar challenges

  • strengthen their ability to communicate concerns to professionals

  • feel supported within a community rather than isolated in the process

Workshops are delivered both online and face‑to‑face, in collaboration with partner organisations where possible. This ensures flexibility, accessibility, and a choice of environment that feels right for each parent.

Upcoming workshops will be advertised on this page and across our platforms as they become available.

Organisations

Collaboration Invitation

I offer voluntary workshops to organisations supporting protective parents in family court. If you would like to explore working together in a voluntary capacity

  • whether through hosting a session

  • co‑developing content, or

  • integrating this support into your existing services

please get in touch. I’d be glad to discuss how we can create meaningful, accessible guidance for the families who need it most.
