Our service is here to offer understanding, guidance, practical skills, communication strategies, and emotional support for those navigating family court matters, child arrangements, or experiences of coercive control and domestic abuse.

This is a therapeutic and advisory service. We provide a safe and supportive space to help you process your experiences and consider your next steps.

We do not provide legal advice, complete assessment services, or prepare court reports. We do not carry out formal assessments, instruct other agencies, or provide diagnoses for the purposes of family court.

We do not act as expert witnesses and cannot provide statements, reports, or testimony for use in legal proceedings. By engaging with this service, you agree not to request or rely on our involvement in court matters.

We are not able to provide professional opinions on the behaviour of a child or the other co-parent. We do not analyse evidence, make determinations of fact, or make recommendations about where a child should or should not live. Decisions regarding a child’s living arrangements are matters for the court.

We do not act as advocates, representatives, or intermediaries with courts, legal professionals, or external agencies.

Our role is to support the protective parent. We aim to help you organise and reflect on your experiences from an assessment service perspective, based on the information you choose to share. We can validate your experiences, offer general guidance, suggest areas you may wish to explore further with appropriate professionals or agencies, and provide information about your rights and available support pathways.
